Redeemer Christmas Party!

Join us as we celebrate the Christmas season together. And what's a Christmas party without a potluck style meal? For added fun, we will be giving a prize for the dish that is voted the best!

You can let us know what you plan to bring on the sign-up sheet here. Please let us know what you plan to bring by Friday, December 8. Also, please know that bringing a dish is NOT required for joining in the fun.

The party will be in the clubroom at the Cornerstone apartment at 625 Monroe Street NE, Washington, D.C. 20017. The entrance to the building is on the corner of Monroe and Michigan Streets NE, across the street from Starbucks and next to the Busboys and Poets.

Sunday Morning Service

  • Mary McLeod Bethune Day Academy (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

As is the history of the church, we meet together corporately in order to strengthen and encourage one another. Redeemer regularly meets as a church family on Sunday mornings to celebrate who Jesus is and what He has done (and continues to do) for us.

During this time we offer songs, prayers of praise, and confession to God; hear scripture read; listen to a sermon that is meant to declare the point of a particular Bible passage; and take time to reflect on the preached Word of God.

Night to Shine 2018

For the third year in a row, Redeemer City Church is partnering with The Tim Tebow Foundation to host Night to Shine, a prom for our special needs community.

Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love for people with special needs, ages 14 and older.

Every guest of Night to Shine will enter their prom on a red carpet complete with welcoming friendly paparazzi. Once inside guests will receive VIP treatment including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, corsages and boutonnieres, a karaoke room and of course, dancing!  The highlight of the night will come when every one of the Night to Shine guests is crowned as a king or queen of the prom.

This wonderful event was started by the Heisman Trophy winner and former NFL quarterback three years ago and held in 44 locations. This year, we are among 375 locations across six continents hosting a prom—and making special needs friends feel like the kings and queens that God created them to be.

There is no cost to attend. Registration to attend as a guest or to volunteer is now open! Space will be limited. Register below to attend or volunteer for this wonderful event!
