Angel Tree Christmas Party

This Christmas season, Redeemer City Church is once again having an Angel Tree Christmas Party, partnering with Angel Tree, a powerful ministry initiative of Prison Fellowship, to bring the tangible love of Christ to families in our community. Angel Tree serves the children of incarcerated parents, ensuring they receive a Christmas gift on their parent’s behalf, along with a personal message of love. This simple, yet profound, act helps to restore and strengthen vital family bonds during a time of separation.

For a child with a parent in prison, the holidays can be especially isolating. Angel Tree steps into that void, delivering not just a toy or clothing, but a sense of being remembered and cherished. By participating, Redeemer City Church can be a crucial link, showing these children that their parent—and our church family—cares deeply for them.

We invite our congregation to take part in our Angel Tree Christmas Party, a heartwarming tradition. You can purchase gifts, donate money, wrap gifts, hand out gifts, help at the party on December 12th. There are all sorts of volunteer opportunities. This ministry offers an immediate and impactful way to live out the Gospel, extending hope and community to some of the most overlooked families in Washington, D.C. This is more than a seasonal event; it’s an opportunity for year-round connection, often opening the door for families to engage with the church and find ongoing support.
