Back-to-School Backpack Drive

Mark your calendars! On Saturday, August 23rd, Redeemer City Church is going to host our annual back-to-school backpack drive, a powerful initiative designed to support students with the essential tools they need for a successful academic year. This fun gathering directly benefits children connected to our cherished Angel Tree families, residents of Redeemer’s House, and students from Mary McLeod Bethune Day Academy, which we have worked with in the past. It’s more than just providing school supplies; it’s about investing in the future of our youth, encouraging families, and demonstrating the tangible love of Christ within our community.
This year, we want you to volunteer at the backpack packing event to sort, pack, and prepare backpacks filled with essential school supplies. This event is always encouraging, with individuals and families coming together, united by a common goal of service and generosity. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to start the school year feeling confident and prepared, and this event makes that vision a reality for many.
Detailed information regarding volunteer opportunities and the specific school supplies needed will be sent via email and our church newsletter. Be on the lookout! We encourage everyone to participate, whether by donating items from our registry, volunteering their time to pack, or spreading the word to others. Your involvement, no matter how big or small, makes a significant difference in the lives of these students.

So, join us on August 23rd as we come together to serve the next generation!
